After things didn't work out quite as well last time, Kazuma Kiryu decided to truly leave his old life behind once and for all. He now spends his days as a cab driver on the streets of Fukuoka. As fate would have it, however, he gets caught up in a new conflict, as war threatens to break out between all the Yakuza clans across Japan - but to protect the dreams of a loved one, he's willing to do anything.
