The action-adventure-video-game Retro Machina is set in a dystopian world where the last sign of human civilization is a single city protected by a giant glass dome. Endeavour City is a metropolis, but it is inhabited solely by robots. The humans have disappeared without a trace. Each robot is assigned a task in society. If they fail to fulfill their task to the satisfaction of the government, they are thrown onto a junkyard. This is also the fate of our protagonist, who is discarded due to a malfunction.
