have you tried the Epic version in Steam?
Just launch the game manually via Steam and select the latest Epic version in the trainer :X

Your recommendation in simplest terms is just asking me to purchase the game again via Epic to use the trainer.

many games are available on multiple platforms and not only one platform and due to the fact we write our trainers in a ways which tolerates small differences in game exe files without any problems as long as the game exe has the same name and the game version (and thus all game objects/classes etc.) are matching, the trainer can be used with them as well
as long as a game don't uses EasyAntiCheat or similar, the Start-button in PLITCH is normally not necessary to press, it simply starts the game for you as a comfort feature... so if you select the Epic version in PLITCH and then start the game on Steam (where you own it) yourself, the PLITCH client will detect the game as soon as it is running (in case the process / game exe has the same name) and then you can try to activate the cheats... with luck, you can use them this way already and if that's the case, we can simply create an entry which is starting the game on Steam as well for you

I have tried the method you just suggested.
It did appear to work as in it made sounds & the prepare cheats locked. The willpower cheat does the +10 in inventory though it isn't necessarily always displayed when moving back. It did cause a crash though when I pressed it twice accidently while in the inventory screen then moved back to the game.
I didn't really notice a discernable difference in hunger though to be fair when I had used it I was already at one hunger & game wise you can't go lower without killing someone.
As for the speed one I haven't tried it out. The version I used had no xp boosting one so I can't tell you about that one.
