valuable information for everyone using this trainer
hello everyone, I just bought the RE2 remake on steam and I noticed a few bugs with the trainer. here are some workarounds.
First, if a cheat is activated (any cheat) it will make Claire or Leon invulnerable to attacks (on latest available trainer)
second, you don't need to activate the prepare button for the infinite ammo and no reload cheats to work. this is important because if the prepare cheat is activated hitting active enemies with secondary weapons ( grenade launcher Claire) (shotgun Leon) will cause the game to crash. in order to prevent this, before using the shotgun or grenade launcher disable the prepare button. you will still be invulnerable to enemy attacks from enabling cheats before. as far as I know, the crashing does not apply to pistols.
third, for the first Birkin fight if cheats were activated before initiating; Claire or Leon will be invulnerable even if Birkin attacks, however in order for Birkin
to die the Godmode cheat must not be activated, it seems that the trainer applies the cheat to Birkin as well.
Solution: if you run into this problem, disable Godmode and enable one hit kill cheat and hit Birkin with one pistol bullet and it should allow you to progress after the cut scene.
Fourth, SPOILER ALERT! on the second fight with Birkin (container fight) Birkin is supposed to smash his way through the shutter to allow the player to get out to start the fight. However if any cheat has been activated prior to the initiation of this fight, Birkin will not move to his desired position and crush through the shutter so the game will be inevitably soft Locked the player dies from fire in the room.
Note: the game will still soft lock even if no cheats are active at the initiation of this fight, if the trainer is open.
Solution: do not open the trainer until after initiating the fight and Birkin has smashed through the shutter and then the player has made it down to the area with the container, after the player is in the area with the container then the game can be paused and sheets can be activated.
note, saving before this fight, is highly recommended.
I hope this helps anyone having issues with the trainer. hopefully the developers can take a look to confirm what I am saying.

unfortunately shared savegames are not compatible. Although we tested some of the cheats but were unable to reproduce the issues.
None of the cheats made Leon invulnerable to attacks:

In your description it sounded as if you already finished the game. Although if you still want to resolve the issues with the trainer, you could try to do a clean install of Plitch by using the "Uninstall PLITCH.exe". For that you need to rightclick on the Plitch desktop icon and select "open file location". There you should be able to find a "unins000". Deinstall PLITCH, restart your pc and then download the setup from the website: https://www.plitch.com/en/downloadsoftware
