Hi,

I've used PLITCH to launch the game many times last month without any issues. This is my first time running the game this month and it gets stuck on the loading screen when entering story mode. I have PLITCH running as admin, and I have Steam running as admin. I also have the "-nobattleye" typed in the Properties setting in Steam. When I click PLAY in PLITCH, it launches the Rockstar Games Launcher and then GTA V, which it has done before and ran just fine but now it just stays on a continuous loop with the loading screen. I can't even exit out the game without having to restart my entire PC. Any ideas about what I can do to fix this issue???

Hi profTECH001,

You can now switch off Battleye in the settings when the Rockstar Games Launcher is open. Please try this once. Here is a short video where you can find the setting: https://i.gyazo.com/526aa4beac764715018ea723c84c9a37.mp4

Hi SoundOfNessa,

Still no success. I've ran it with the Battleye unchecked in the Rockstar Games Launcher settings and "-nobattleye" deleted from the Properties setting in Steam. And I also ran it with the Battleye unchecked in the Rockstar Games Launcher settings and "-nobattleye" typed in the Properties setting. The game still gets stuck in a continuous loop on the loading screen when entering story mode.

Thank you very much for trying that out! Please try to verify your game files in Steam for errors (right-click on the game in your steam library < properties < installed files < verify integrity of game files).

Then try to to start both PLITCH and Steam with explicit administrator rights (right-click on the desktop icon and then "run as administrator"). Add the command line to Steam again. Then start the game with the "PLAY" button in PLITCH.

No success. I verified the game files through Steam and received the message "All 628 files successfully validated." I had PLITCH and Steam running as administrator as required, "-nobattleye" is typed in the command line, and Battleye is unchecked in the Rockstar Games Launcher. The game still gets stuck in a continuous loop on the loading screen when entering story mode.

Sorry to hear that! Can you load your game if you don't have PLITCH open while doing so?

Please also make sure that Steam is in offline mode (top left corner > Steam > third option).

Yes, the game launches and runs as intended without the PLITCH app while Steam is offline and online.

No, the game does not launch properly and run as intended with PLITCH and Steam running as administrator, Steam offline, "-nobattleye" typed in the command line, and Battleye unchecked in the Rockstar Games Launcher. The game still gets stuck in a continuous loop on the loading screen when entering story mode.
