On a whim, I choose the GOG 1.31 version. Started Game..Moved Character a step...Opened Inventory...Closed Inventory...Added 4 Skills...It didn't Crash.
I opened the inventory and checked the Character page. There were 4 skill points. Left window opened and tried to add another skill....It Crashed immediately.
I hope this helps someone recreating this crashing.

Windows 10 Pro. GOG release Ver 1.32. Started game, did an action or two. Opened inventory. Scrolled around through screens. left the screens open. Closed the screens. Tried GOG, Retail, and Steam versions. Crashed every time.

Trove is a game that reminds me a lot of my favorite childhood game. Buy Trove Flux is a very nice option in Trove. Because who wouldn't want their own personal Trove Flux? I personally wanted so much, so the first move I made in Trove was Buy Trove Flux. A friend of mine who has been playing Trove for a few years says the same that the Buy Trove Flux option is one of the nicest trove flux options you can buy.

Yes, GOTY from GOG. And the next question, I can't remember when I tried adding skills/experience. Mods...Yes. A dozen or so. I gave up trying it at the moment. I started Witcher 2, since I never played it before and I did play Witcher 3 for a couple hundred hours back when it was first released. I bought the original release and then I go the GOTY versions. When I get through more of W2, I'll experiment with W3 again and start dropping out MODs. Thanks for the thoughts and suggestions on something I might be overlooking. Never knew about NOT playing with setting early on (tutorial).
