did you follow the steps in the red hint and cheatdescription?
For the money cheat, you need to activate the items/gold cheat nad then split a stack of gold.
For the stat cheat, you need select your character, open the character sheet (where you can see your stats), activate the cheats, save the game and reload your savegame to see a change.

I just got through setting up stats for both Pathfinder games yesterday and the day before and it's the same method but you only need to save the game once there. I had a lot of fun just "Plitching" out the stats, etc. in the Pathfinder games that it felt like a game in itself, haha. I'm looking forward to doing the same with Baldur's Gate 3 here soon :)
