Edit: If at first you don't succeed, try and try again 😉 Change the game version in Plitch ... et voila ... worm thingy dies just like that!!! So newest game version in Plitch is 585652 Steam (which I guess is the addition of Christmasy stuff). This is the one I began the game on in Plitch, it worked fine until the worm thingy (ex-snake) ... Reloaded the game but used version 585117 Steam and the rest, including the worm thingy, is history. Moved on to Four Horseman level and it plays fine on version 585117 Steam even though the game is displaying version 585652 ?
I'll leave you good people to explain😉

Is the godmode causing the problem? Did you activate the cheat after loading into your savegame?
are you playing via steam or gog?

Some times cheats like godmode can affect enemies when you activate them in the main menu.
