Questions regarding update to Plitch
Premium
46 PostsI do want to ask what prompted this change, has some other group gotten involved here? It just seems rather odd to have this whole new Name, layout, and everything, and I'll be honest, I'm a little frustrated with the forums being wiped, again.
I will add though, I'm quite pleased with the new trainer so far, the option to change which buttons control the cheats is very helpful, I'm still getting used to the layout, but I think it's a good update to the old trainer.

So with the, what I consider to be a very sudden, change over from MegaDev to Plitch, the website seems to be very laggy at the moment, though I remember it being that way when y'all updated the site to the previously new Megatrainer as well, so I'm not too worried about that.

we had a lot of ideas for improvements already before, but the MT-U technology were not allowing us to realize all of them and the forum structure was already 6 months after the website relaunch in February 2018 a big problem... so we decided to start a completely new project (new database structure, new server code, new website code, new client code+technic, add a second screen app to the client and so on)
last year we were already showing a first build of PLITCH on the Gamescom and started a small Open Beta until March this year to get first feedback... with this feedback we improved a lot of things over the last months and finally finished nearby everything until August 2020... so we started the Closed Beta a few weeks ago, got again useful feedback and improved+fixed the website and client to finally do the merge from MegaTrainer to PLITCH
as you can see in the forum here, we now support threads again and thus, the old forum could not be moved into the new one (and most of the posts were related to MegaTrainer and MegaDev website, so it wouldn't make sense as well)
