New Trainer

I cannot get this to work. I am admin, and I have run both steam and plitch as admin on top of that. Pressing 0 on the num pad causes my weapon to fire. Not what I expected or want. I have never seen the cheat list appear. I have removed the plitch folder from virus scanning and done most all of the recommended "fixes". I am running V1.2 of moon mystery from steam which you list, but no go. Windows 11 24H2. Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti. The Nvidia overlay is off. Any ideas appreciated. I am stuck at the end of the red desert portion and need help dealing with the giant robot.

Have you tried enabling the cheats manually in the trainer instead of using the hotkey?

Also, please try verifying your game files in Steam! You can do this by right-clicking on the game in your Steam library -> Properties -> Installed Files -> Verify integrity of game files.

Yes, I've tried enabling manually in the trainer. No change. However, the validate said "5 files failed to validate and will be reaquired". I don't know if this means steam will take care of it, or I need to re-download the game. Do you know? I tried the validate after the download (was only 512 B) but nothing had changed; got the same message and Plitch did the same thing. It appears to me that Plitch is certainly getting to the game in memory as the prepare is causing the weapon to fire but getting to the wrong address. Do I need to reinstall?

Sorry, I didn't read Steam's directions which call for a restart before the verify. After I restarted and ran the verify again, it said all files were verified.

One other comment is that your .mp4 shows the program starting as new. That is not what I'm doing. I followed the video and loaded my latest save before trying anything. I guess the base question here is whether or not I can load my quick save and still use Plitch. If that is the problem, I'm out of luck. If it's SUPPOSED to work even after I load my latest quick save, I would be glad to send you my latest quick save (or all of them). Just let me know.

I finally got it to work. I used your .mp4 as a guide. I had to window the game so I could get to the trainer. Doing it that way, I was able to get unlimited health and defeat the boss robot. This was difficult for me even with unlimited health. How some of the others do it, I have no idea. I think the fact that I'm 78 probably has something to do with it! Anyhow, Plitch allowed me to kill him and advance to the next stage. Whether I'll use it again or not, I'm not sure. I'll probably only use it if I get really stuck again. Apparently, there is something flaky with the keypad 0 thing. Maybe it conflicts with something in the game. I would be curious if you can get that to work, but it's no longer a big deal. Thanks.

This way you do not have to put your game in window mode.
