Did you follow the steps in the cheatdescription? - Activate the cheat while the restaurant is open or at your ship, finish your day to see a change in the value.
Were you able to activate the prepare?

yes i was able to activate the prepare. I did cheat in the both the restaurant and my ship i then did another day and no change

I tested the cheat but it seemed to work fine

I activated the cheat during my shift (in the restaurant) and at the end of the day, when I was back at the spaceship i saw a change in the value.

Have you checked your gamefiles for errors?

yes i have checked the game files and uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Done the same as you and still not working.
