So new client, been out what a month or so? - I'd moaned a little in discord but will vent a little here

The good.

It's something different.

Honestly i don't know why you changed to this new system.. probably some access / control nonsense or whatever but seriously.

The bad.

not having access to a game's discussion from the trainer page.. yea that's bad, old system had that.

Forum discussion pages are HUGE like I've got a 4k screen and I'm seeing perhaps 6 topics, there's no scrolling down a page reading headlines, mostly oversized and designed for a mobile device. .. is this interface designed to be used on a mobile or a pc?

The forum page literally just has 8 games with new discussions shown... far to much space lost, please double this up. 16 - 20 ideally.

need a spell check. I'm constantly seeing red squiggles under text. - cant spell - please incorp a rate a spell checker in forum.

The ugly.

The front (home page) page we need more stuff going on there. New games coming out, what games are being worked on, peoples fabs (trainers) , Heck plug some youtube vid links for how to work trainers in there.

Page just feels dead and otherwise un-needed!

-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

Other than that I'm still here going to keep supporting each month..

I get it you have to compete with a competitor who has almost daily steam gift card giveaway's on discord, mostly funded by the 4-8k premium members they have (inc me); where as plitch's discord is fairly quiet however you have trainers for the majority of gaming platforms outside of steam (mostly)

Make the social aspect of the company more invigorating? - have a link for deals on game or even tech. Create links for (whatever companies do to get kickbacks on orders of stuff) I'm sure many peeps will be buying stuff come black friday, throw out some ssd storage and gpu links.? / (purchases with links adds entries into future competitions?) or whatever? - dunno how coding for that would work.

I (we- no not like that... collectively) get it, you have overheads, office space, rent, making a living etc, however you might want to increase community development, get in touch with computer outlets, run a competition for winning 1 of x amount of graphics cards? top wins a pc / / whatever..

Final thoughts..

I really did miss the hallowen theme i thought you were bringing, perhaps when said seasons come along, just change the icon file for the task bar? - seriously how often do people change their task bar icon? coming up on xmas, i think we need a little santa's hat over the P design. You can go back to the green in spring.

Heya! First of all: No worries, the entire OG team that was behind PLITCH 1.0 is still actively working on PLITCH 2.0. Then: Thank you for your feedback! I will try to address some of it as best as I can.

As PLITCH 1.0 was growing bigger and bigger in terms of features, we soon reached the technical limitations of the old client. This meant that in order for us to introduce everything we wanted (and want to, in the future), we had to re-vamp the PLITCH client. The tech behind PLITCH 2.0 has been reworked from the ground up (just compare loading times between 1.0 and 2.0, it's much snappier now) which means that we had to throw out some old features that we were not able to implement in a proper manner for the relaunch, like the community tabs you mention. But, don't worry: We're already working to figure out how and when we can re-introduce them.

Regarding some of your feedback: The homepage, the forum overview, etc. will be growing and readjusted according to usage statistics. We personally felt the old forum lacked a clear overview of all of the hot topics that were most relevant. But, we will take your feedback into account and discuss internally how we could adjust both the homepage and the forum accordingly. Other changes are just not feasible for us to implement - for example, Google Chrome already comes with an integrated spell checker.

Finally: Don't worry about the seasonal skins for the PLITCH client. We're already working on some more skins so you'll be able to individualize your PLITCH to your liking again soon!
