Did you pick the lastest steam version in the trainer?
Did you activate the cheats AFTER loading into your savegame?

Yes to both questions. I'm currently trying to initiate the lockdown in the medical facility, but every time I do as soon as I move the alien comes out of an overhead hatch and kills Ripley. Is this maybe a sequence which can't be avoided?

Update: I managed to get through this sequence and through to an autosave. Still have the alien seeing me but just standing screaming. I may give up 😕

Can you send me your savegame?
You should be able to find it here
<Steam-folder>\userdata\<user-id>\214490\remote
and can upload it (for example) on wetransfer, generate a link and post it in the forum
