Game crashing during movement phase...
Morning.
This one is somewhat complicated, but none the less annoying.
Having clicked on a land unit (army, agent, missionary or spy) and moving the cursor around on the map, in order to move that unit, if the cursor touches the flag of one of my naval units (warship or tradeship), the game seems to blink for a moment and then it crashes to the desktop.
Every once in a while, this also happens, if the cursor touches the naval unit itself, but most of the times, it only happens as mentioned above.
I have no problems loading land units onboard ships from a harbour. Nor any problems offloading land units from a harbour.
It is also possible to offload land units from ships onto a coast line. But trying to load them back onboard again from a coast line crashes the game, as mentioned above.
Needless to say, this problem makes handling land and naval units in a narrow body of water between islands and the main land somewhat tricky.
Having moved a unit, it is necessary to "empty" the cursor of the moved unit by clicking the cursor on empty ground or water, before moving the cursor to the next unit. As long as there is a unit attached to the cursor, you risk crashing the game to the desktop, by simply moving it around on the map - and touching one of your own units elsewhere.
The problem only occurs, if the cursor touches one of your own units, while moving. Nothing happens, if your "loaded" cursor touches an enemy unit or another foreign unit.
I have mentioned this on Steam and other players responded having had the same experience themselves.

Hey taj1964,
did you launch Pltich and Steam as administrator?
Which gamemode/ mission are you playing?

Plitch and Steam are launched as administrator, whenever I run the programmes. I only play the grand (long) campaign.
