does the game crashes instantly after activating a cheat?
Did you make sure to launch Plitch and Steam as administrator? The trainer requires admin rights to fully function :)

only after activating a cheat. i've had no problem with some of the other games ( except Elden Ring) i'll try relaunching steam

I tested the cheats real quick and was able to reproduce the issue. It's on our to-do list and we'll try to find a solution for it asap.
