can't actived cheats

Hello,

I have an issue with Civilization 6 where I cannot activate Plitch. I own the Steam version and use DX11. I have both DLCs activated, Gathering Storm and Rise and Fall, and the game's main menu displays the DLC name "Gathering Storm" under the game's title.

When I start any version on Plitch and launch the game, Plitch shows that the game is running for both Gathering Storm and Rise and Fall versions. There is a red button available to close the game, but the problem is that activating the code doesn't work. I click on it and press the activation keys in the game, but the cheats still don't activate. I have no idea why. Both Plitch and Steam are running as administrators.

Do you know what could be wrong? Thank you in advance for your help.

did you ensure you’re using the Steam DX11 version in the trainer instead of the DX12 one? Also did you try to activate the cheats after fully loading into your savegame?

Are you using any mods for the game?

Yes, I'm using DX 11; I have verified it. I tried activating them after fully loading the save, and still nothing. I don't use mods, but I have overwritten certain files because I installed a translation into my native language. Instead of functioning as a mod, it works more like overwriting the files that use the English language and replacing them with my native language. Do you think that could be the issue?

Otherwise, I tried running Civilization without DLCs on Plitch, and that worked; the codes activated. However, when I tried using them, nothing happened—just the general cheat activation. Yet, I have both of the mentioned DLCs, and when I try to use them on Plitch, the cheats fail to activate.

Could you try to remove the language pack and verify your gamefiles in Steam? Just to check if it's affecting the cheats.
